They shouldn’t have been. While Fox News claims to be against the mainstream media, they’re actually part of one of the single biggest media companies in the world… and now they’re turning against Trump.
Even though Fox likes to portray itself as an independent, anti-mainstream media source, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more mainstream kind of news company…
You see, Fox News is entirely the property of Rupert Murdoch, a media mogul with worrying ties to China, with rumors suggesting that his wife may have been working as a spy for the Chinese Communist Party.
Murdoch doesn’t just run Fox News… he’s behind dozens of news organizations, including the liberal Wall Street Journal.
In other words, he’s completely fine with selling out everything to the highest bidder, including Fox News.
While the station claimed to be completely behind President Trump for the last four years…
The second the tide seemed to change, they decided to turn their back on him. It’s a pattern we’ve seen everywhere, even amongst some of the Republicans who claimed to be right behind the President.
Just as soon as they realized there was money to be made elsewhere, they turned on him practically overnight.
That’s why it’s so important that Trump has decided to fight back against Fox – and the results have been astonishing.
Immediately after President Trump came out against the way that Fox was covering him, the station’s viewership dropped by almost a third.
It’s not just the viewership…
While about two-thirds of Republican voters thought the station was trustworthy before the election, favorability polls are dropping fast, now down to almost a half…
And it’s just going to keep going down.
Trump is completely right to take the fight to Fox. Why?
The network called the results of the election in Arizona for Biden before just about any other network, a shocking three days before even CNN weighed in.
There was absolutely no reason for them to do that. It didn’t help the president, it didn’t even help Biden… it was all about sending a message to Trump.
That message: ‘we’re done with you’.
It’s only right that President Trump fights back against those who claimed to be his biggest defenders… if they’ve counted him out, that’s their problem.
