President Trump announced that he will be filing a class-action lawsuit against social media giants Facebook, Twitter, Google, and the company’s respective CEO’s.
Following the January 6th riot, Trump was permanently banned from Twitter, and temporarily banned from Facebook; a sentence that has been extended until at least January 2023.
Zuckerberg said that Trump would be suspended from Facebook because he used it “to incite violent insurrection against a democratically elected government.”
But really this is just another scheme by the liberals and Big Tech companies to censor the conservative voice, or any voice they don’t like for that matter…
“We’re going to hold Big Tech very accountable,” Trump said in his announcement of this lawsuit.
His suit claims that these companies enact “censorship of the American people”, and that we are facing a “beautiful development for our freedom of speech.”
This lawsuit is backed by the America First Policy Institute, a nonprofit launched by the Trump Administration to further advance his policies.
Social media platforms have become catalysts to free speech in the same way that newspapers and television once were in the past. However, sites like Twitter are merely platforms for content, not actual publishers…
And now these Tech companies are shamelessly censoring and discriminating against ideas and opinions of the American people, who don’t fit the mold of the mainstream media’s opinions.
Users are being banned, organizations are being removed from platforms; the once ‘free’ flow of information that our democracy cherished is being blocked by the liberals who are manipulating the actions of Big Tech behind the scenes.
Trump’s lawsuit argues that Big Tech companies impose illegal and unconstitutional governmental censorship.
During the growth of the internet, Congress looked for ways to further promote its growth by extending liability protections to internet platforms, so that they were not held legally liable for the content that was posted to their sites by the individuals who used it.
This immunity is being exploited by the liberals in Congress who use these platforms to censor the American voice from being heard.
What President Trump is doing is a major step in the right direction towards the free speech we are supposedly ‘guaranteed’ under the constitution.
But he’s going against tech giants who have the power of the liberals on their side…
It’s about time we were given fair and honest representation on social media, without fear that our accounts will be removed, and our rights revoked… and President Trump is leading the charge towards a free future.
