America: the land of shortages and scarcity

Over the last few months, the American economy has transformed into a land of scarcity.

Product shortages are on the rise, the price for basic goods is soaring, supply chains are in shambles… and the Biden Administration seems to have their eyes shut and backs turned on the matter.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki cracked a joke Tuesday about the supply chain crisis affecting businesses and consumers across the country, saying it’s a “tragedy” some people may have to wait longer for their treadmill to arrive.

“The tragedy of the treadmill that’s delayed,” Psaki sighed during her daily press briefing.

Rather than acknowledge and sympathize with the causes of scarcity in goods, the Biden administration seems hell-bent on pushing forward with their progressive policies.

American middle-income families are bearing the brunt of this crisis, while the higher-ups don’t even think there’s a problem.

Psaki recently told reporters that the administration “cannot guarantee” that Christmas presents will arrive on time, and several large shipping companies such as FedEx and UPS have already announced ship by dates so that people can get gifts ordered and sent out in time.

Psaki seems to think that the situation is not as dire as it is, naturally, none of the dems in charge is truly aware of the gravity of their policies.

In a press conference addressing the issues with the economy and supply chain, one reporter asked why President Biden hadn’t acted sooner to address this crisis, and whether or not the administration had failed to anticipate this future.

To which, Psaki responded with her usual deflecting answers.

“I think the important thing to understand here is that there are multiple issues that are impacting the supply chain,” she said. “And some of that is that as the economy has turned back on, more people had expendable income, wages to buy more goods, more people are buying more goods. People have started to also buy more things online than going into stores.”

All she’s doing here is stating the obvious as if that’s going to solve any problems. Psaki also made claims that the administration has always had a team in place to address the supply chain issues, and that their current focus is on providing vaccinations to countries where manufacturing sites have been long since shut down.

If you look at the way Biden has handled affairs since he took office, then you’ll see how obvious it is that every decision he’s made has been detrimental to the economy and prosperity of America.

His first and still ongoing failure was his forceful COVID mandates. The administration pushed out the inevitable, and stalled the nation’s return to normalcy, in turn, this “forever war” pandemic has only hurt the service sector of businesses like restaurants, bars, and movie theaters.

Not to mention the havoc he’s wreaked on the labor market. By allowing the programs for COVID unemployment to push on for so long, Biden’s bred a generation of lazy Americans’ who would rather sit on unemployment benefits than go back to work.

Labor shortages popped up in every corner of the market; in combination with the onslaught of vaccine mandates that came to the workforce, it posed many challenges for critical sectors such as transportation, medical, and education.

American Families should not be faced with skyrocketing prices and a higher cost of living after coming out of the depths of a global pandemic. Who knows what’s in store for America at this point.
