Even after two decades, the 9/11 family victims still seek the truth.
The image of two passenger planes crashing into the twin towers of the World Trade Center is engraved in our memories. This September marks the twentieth year of the tragic 9/11 terror attacks… where almost 3,000 people died.
We’ve seen the FBI’s inability to disclose pieces of evidence in their investigation. Several family victims say that the FBI has failed to produce:
- Phone records of calls among co-conspirators in the attacks
- Records of witness interviews
- A photograph of a Saudi diplomat with two of the hijackers outside a southern California mosque…. soon after they arrived in the US
The FBI was hiding something. So Biden took the opportunity to give our Americans false hope in last year’s elections.
He promised to release classified information about the 9/11 attacks.
One of the victim’s family members was moved with Biden’s promise. She said, “We have been fighting the FBI and intelligence community for too long. But this looks like a true turning point.”
However, when Biden got into the office, he backed down his word. He said that he couldn’t get the material released due to “national security issues.”
This made it look like Biden over-promised and under-delivered… only to win the presidential elections. This excuse made family members furious.
Almost 1,800 people signed a letter calling Biden to release the official documents. They also said that if Biden would refuse, he won’t be allowed to attend memorial events to commemorate the 20th anniversary.
In their letter, they emphasized, “We cannot in good faith, and with veneration to those lost, sick, and injured, welcome the president to our hallowed grounds until he fulfills his commitment. Since the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission in 2004 much investigative evidence has been uncovered implicating Saudi government officials in supporting the attacks.”
This forced Biden to sign an executive order this September to fulfill his campaign promise despite his excuses.
Biden’s order requires Attorney General Merrick Garland to declassify the documents… and release them publicly over the next six months.
After signing the executive order, Biden said, “My heart continues to be with the 9/11 families who are suffering, and my Administration will continue to engage respectfully with members of this community. I welcome their voices and insight as we chart a way forward.”
Are his words true, or is this only another one of his false promises?
Yes, it may look like Biden is doing what he promised to the 9/11 family victims. But for many Americans, his sincerity is still questionable.
There’s still a chance that during the six months of declassification review, the liberals may redact and fabricate all the relevant information… such as blacked-out names, places, and other info.
Probably, there won’t be new information that Biden may be provided to the public’s knowledge about the 9/11 incident.
There’s still no saying if the truth will come out after Biden publicizes these documents.
