We told you so.
Just over a week after outright promising that every American would get the $2000 checks President Trump fought for, Joe Biden has changed his mind, coming in with a lowball offer…
Here’s what Biden’s pushing for now – and why it’s nowhere near good enough.
Days before the Georgia senate runoffs, Biden made it very clear that he agreed with President Trump… $600 checks are nowhere near enough to benefit the millions of Americans suffering because of the pandemic.
In fact, he made a promise…
If the dems won in Georgia, $2000 checks would ‘go out the door immediately’.
Of course, that didn’t happen. Despite winning both senate seats to achieve a majority, dems haven’t done anything to get the checks authorized.
In fact, now that the dems are, at last, starting to move on the relief bill, those $2000 checks have already shrunk considerably…
Biden’s recently-announced relief package has already cut $600 off each check, cutting down to $1400 right off the bat.
That’s not even the whole story…
Expect that number to go down even further before anything gets past the senate.
And just remember, there’s a reason why the stimulus is only being debated now…
Months ago, dem speaker Nancy Pelosi unilaterally rejected President Trump’s $1.8 Trillion stimulus package, stopping the President from helping millions of Americans… just because the pre-election timing was inconvenient for dems.
With the current Biden package just valued at $1.5 Trillion, it’s already a step down from the level of funding President Trump was attempting to secure.
And there’s still people trying to stop even that smaller level of aid. Dem senator Joe Mancin absolutely refused to consider $2000 checks, while anti-Trump Republicans like Mitch McConnell are just as actively trying to keep you from receiving any support…
So expect that package to get even worse – for you. There’s a lot of funding in there for political allies… don’t expect that to get cut out. They’re going to do everything they can to cut your stimulus – and nothing at all to cut back on unnecessary giveaways for business.
