A person might act one way in the morning, and seem perfectly normal. But in the evening, they might not make any sense at all…
It’s a tragically common thing to see, especially when it’s happening to a major politician.
The thing is, sundowning doesn’t get better… it just keeps getting worse and worse, no matter how subtle it is at first.
So when it starts off, it almost always spells the end for someone’s political career. You just can’t be an effective politician if you’re not able to think rationally, clearly, around the clock, right?
Especially if you’re one of the most important politicians in the world.
So when a recently-released book explained how top dems coordinated Biden’s rare appearances on the campaign trail, it started to set off alarms for a lot of people.
Here’s a direct quote from Amie Parnes, one of the authors of ‘Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency”:
“Even going into COVID and the primary, there was a discussion about what to do and how to frame Biden’s schedule so he wasn’t really speaking late into the day where he would be gaffe-prone and had his missteps”.
Sound familiar?
Maybe it should.
According to Parnes, top dems knew that Biden didn’t make as much sense in the evenings… knew they had to shape his schedule to keep him as far away from the public as possible.
That means they must have known about the danger. If Biden can’t be trusted in public in the evening, what’s going to happen when someone wakes him up to handle an emergency in the middle of the night?
What happens when the military can’t understand what the commander-in-chief is telling them?
It’s going to be absolute chaos.
