Divide Among House Dems Threatens the Fate of Their Spending Plan

Since last year, the dems have been very inconsiderate when it comes to how they manage the federal budget…

They’re still pushing their massive spending plan, and we’ve already seen how terribly that’s going…

Americans felt inflation throughout the year. The stock market went down. Meat prices went up. Energy prices skyrocketed.

A new divide among House dems threatens the fate of their irrational spending plan. Two mega-bills were thrown into limbo…

First is the Infrastructure Deal. It’s a bipartisan $1 trillion package with money for roads, bridges, public transit, and clean drinking water.

The second is the Build Back Better Act. It’s supported by dems with $1.75 trillion for child care, housing, climate change, and strengthening the Affordable Care Act.

This January, both massive spending plans began receiving opposition from both the Republican and Democrat sides.

Senate GOPs have rejected Biden’s latest infrastructure proposal.

They said, “Instead of working with Republicans to find common ground on a bill that could earn strong bipartisan support… something our Senate counterparts did successfully last month… this bill moves even further to the left to appease the most progressive members in the Majority’s party.”

On the other hand, their fellow Democrat, Joe Manchin continues to reject his own party’s spending bill. Manchin shared his thoughts during an interview on Fox News. “I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there… This is a no.”

According to CNN, there were other House Democrats who broke from their party to vote against their party’s bill:

  • Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York
  • Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri
  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York
  • Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota
  • Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts
  • Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan

Our patriot leader’s opposition is great enough, to begin with. Manchin’s rejection alone is also a big threat to the bill.

Not to mention the other six weary House Democrats…

Rep. Andy Biggs shared his thoughts on what may happen if the revised spending bill comes to pass. He made his points clear during an interview with Newsmax.

First, he said that overall spending may reach a larger amount than anticipated – up to $5 trillion. “So it is really up in the air, whether they’re going to ever get that thing through. And if they do get through, it really isn’t a $1.7 trillion spending package as it sits the CBO has come out and said it’s over $3 trillion, and other private, nonpartisan folks looking at it to close as close to a $5 trillion spending package over 10 years.”

Second, he clarified how this high spending could cause American’s to see continued inflation and more debt than it has already. He added, “And it’ll have a direct impact on inflation have a direct impact on our national security. And if there’s any kind of tapering going on at the Fed going up, guess what? Our debt payments will increase and that will further squeeze our national debt.”

As of now, the dem’s irrational spending bill doesn’t seem to be getting approval anytime soon thanks to our patriot leaders and opposing Democrats. They just need to stand their ground and continue doing the right thing for our country.
