Former CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield testified during a House hearing on the origins of COVID-19. He revealed that he was excluded from calls between global health experts. The director argued that Dr. Anthony Fauci acted “antithetical to science” when he rejected the lab leak theory discussion.
The committee searches for answers on the pandemic origins. They also assess claims Dr. Fauci was part of a “cover-up.”
Dr. Fauci Covers COVID Origins
Meanwhile, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Will Cain argued that Fauci’s actions surrounding the pandemic origins were “covering up his culpability.”
Cain said, “And yet, today, if you question Fauci’s sainthood, you are a wing nut. It’s worth highlighting [the] former director of the CDC laid out [some] fascinating points that I want to reiterate. First, in September 2019, the Wuhan lab changed three protocols that imply guilt. They deleted the strains and the codes of the virus.”
He added, “They changed from civilian to military oversight. And then, they brought in a civilian contractor to change the ventilation system. [All] of those pieces of [ample] circumstantial evidence points to their guilt that it was a virus created in a lab.”
The Wuhan lab changing three protocols is solid evidence of the COVID origins. The director also argued that:
- Fauci branded anyone who pointed to the truth as a conspiracy theorist
- He paid off $9 million in grants to two scientists who said the virus looked like it was made in the lab
Cain believes Fauci would go to great lengths to cover up his responsibility in helping fund this worldwide pandemic…
House Dems and GOP Vote to Declassify COVID Origins
House Democrats and Republicans have come together to vote unanimously in favor… of declassifying intelligence relating to the origin of COVID-19.
The bill, which requires the director of national intelligence to declassify all intelligence about the Wuhan Institute of Virology and possible links to the sources of the virus… is set to be sent to President Biden. The release of the information would be required within 90 days of the bill being signed into law.
Republicans have clarified that the classified information suggests that the virus originated in the Wuhan lab…
Moreover, they accuse Dr. Fauci of trying to cover up this information. Rep. Greg Murphy alleges that Fauci commissioned a scientific paper to debunk the lab theory… despite receiving emails in January 2020. Murphy suggests that the virus looked engineered and not from the wild.
Rep. Jim Himes is the top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee. He noted that the intelligence community agencies are still split on the virus’s origins.
Himes believes that it is still unclear where COVID-19 came from. However, he has also noted that releasing classified information is essential for people to decide…
China has been reluctant to assist the US in its investigation… which Himes believes is irresponsible and dangerous to global public health.
The bill passed by the House and the Senate and will now be sent to Biden for signature. If he signs the bill, it will become law. The American people will be able to see the facts about the COVID lab leak and decide.
