Education Dept Using Covid Funds to Fund Critical Race Theory?
This September, conservatives are demanding information on where their taxes are really going. House Republicans are launching an investigation on the Department of Education… for allegedly allowing Covid relief funds to pay for the Critical Race Theory curriculum.
Two patriot leaders initiated the movement. They are:
- House Committee on Oversight and Reform ranking member James Comer
- Education and Labor Committee ranking member Virginia Foxx
They led a series of letters signed by 30 GOP lawmakers. Moreover, the complaint was sent to Education Department Secretary Miguel Cardona.
The lawmakers said in their letter, “Committees on Oversight and Reform and Education and Labor Republicans are investigating the use of Covid-19 relief dollars appropriated for virus mitigation… and the safe reopening of schools. Based on recent reports, the Department of Education is allowing Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act – and related COVID relief funds – to pay for racially biased and other progressive leftist programs.”
They also expressed their disbelief about how our taxes indoctrinate children. The lawmakers said, “Specifically, Congress created the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) fund. [It intends] to enable schools to reopen and address learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Those taxpayer dollars, however, are being used to indoctrinate children in core tenets of leftist ideology.”
Moreover, the lawmakers also stated that Congress allotted:
- $13.2 billion in the CARES Act
- $54.3 billion in the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021
These were intended to enable schools to reopen safely after the pandemic. Unfortunately, several states wanted to use the funds for the Critical Race Theory. The lawmakers added, “At least ten other state plans included proposals to use the funds to implement racially biased curriculum and programs based on Critical Race Theory.”

The liberals are funneling our hard-earned tax dollars into their left-wing agenda. It’s outrageous! They’re using Covid relief funds to finance the indoctrination of our children… especially with their socialist ideology.
Why can’t they just leave our kids alone? All they want is to brainwash them into becoming little Liberals. Well, I say never! We’ll never let them win.
These twisted dems are destroying our education system with their critical race theory. They’re tricking our children with the false belief that America is a racist country.
This is not only untrue, but it’s also incredibly harmful. It’s leading to division and resentment instead of understanding and unity. We cannot allow the Democrats to continue to destroy our education system. We need to fight back and demand better for our children.
