Jordyn Woods was put in the hot seat today when TMZ inquired if the model and designer would be willing to rekindle her friendship with Kylie Jenner.
Charlie Cotton, an Australian TMZ camera guy, opened up with a softball question. “Can I just ask? How important has the Smiths’ support been during this period?” he wondered, referring to Jada Pinkett Smith’s family. Woods appeared on Smith’s Red Table Talk show to break her silence on cheating allegations with Tristan Thompson, Khloé Kardashian’s boyfriend, in March.
“Honestly, the whole world’s support is amazing,” Jordyn responded while signing autographs.
“Has it [the support] helped you feel better about the whole situation?” he asked. Woods dismissed his question and continued signing autographs and took a selfie with a fan.
Ever persistent, Cotton finally asked the question we all want to know the answer to: “Would you be willing to rekindle a friendship and try to make things right with Kylie?”
“I have love for everyone,” she said as she smiled at the camera and threw her hands up. Woods was at LAX airport with her mother Elizabeth Woods, who quickly interjected. “We love Kylie,” her mom said.
“You love Kylie?” a bewildered Cotton asked. “Always,” replied Jordyn.
Inside the airport terminal, the cameraman tagged along and wanted to know if Woods and Jenner’s friendship could heal and if Jordyn had any messages for the makeup mogul. Her mother quickly shut it down with four words: “We love you, Kylie.”
The conversation with TMZ features Woods’s first remarks about Jenner since her exclusive interview on the Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith last month.
At the time, Woods denied the allegations that she hooked up with NBA player Tristan Thompson, who is the father of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True Thompson. After the interview streamed, Khloe attempted to drag Woods on Twitter, and accused her of being “the reason my family broke up.” However, social media support for Jordyn was evident as Twitter collectively clapped back at Khloe with epic responses.
Only time will reveal if Jenner and Woods can really return to being friends as they were before the scandal. However, family loyalties will likely continue to be put to the test. Earlier this week, Us Weekly and People both reported that when Woods, Kendall Jenner, and Hailey Bieber were spotted at the same Coachella party last weekend, it was allegedly full of “tension” and “awkwardness.”
