What would you do if you knew a major terrorist attack was coming?
According to government accusations, one man may have done everything he could to turn a tragedy into millions of dollars in profits.
Revealing the terrifying TRUE story about Anthony Elgindy, the financial criminal who may be deeply connected to the worst terrorist atrocity in our history.
In the days leading up to 9/11, anyone watching the stock market may have noticed something very unusual… vast bets that the stock price of United and American Airlines would collapse in the near future.
No surprise that when that fateful day came, the value of those airlines plummeted… no one wanted to travel by air, if they were even willing to leave the house at all.
In other words, anyone who bet against the airlines won big… in a way which no one should have been able to predict.
The thing is, people don’t just make big stock market bets for no reason, and they definitely don’t try to cash in on everything they’re leaving for their kids… unless they’re certain that something’s going to happen.
So when Anthony Elgindy did just that, placing major bets against the airlines throughout September, and trying to cash in on a trust fund for his children on 9/10, people started to notice… and ask the obvious questions.
Just a few months after 9/11, Elgindy was in court. Prosecutors proved that Elgindy was turning a huge profit on insider information passed to him from a disgraced FBI agent… by finding out what companies were under investigation, he was able to make a huge profit.
But according to the initial prosecution, the truth may go a whole lot further than that…
As prosecuting attorney Ken Breen put it: “Perhaps Mr. Elgindy had pre-knowledge of the Sept. 11 attacks… Instead of trying to report it, he tried to profit from it”.
While the judge refused to listen, from the facts of the case, it’s clear that something happened… maybe Elgindy just got an illegal tip from his FBI contact that airline stocks were going to collapse for one reason or another…
Or maybe it’s a whole lot worse than that.
Either way, with the prosecutors forced to drop that part of the case, and Elgindy dead and buried, all that’s left is the question – how much did he really know about what was going to happen?
