Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have arrived to turn up the heat on the Met Gala red carpet. The couple, who tied the knot in December, arrived to the camp-themed sartorial celebration wearing Saint Laurent. It’s their first time attending the annual event as a couple.
This marks Cyrus’s fourth time at the event and Hemsworth’s first. The couple, who isn’t afraid to share their shenanigans on social media, documented their pre-gala preparations on Instagram Stories.
Late last night, the singer and actress shared a shot with her hubby getting ready for bed on the eve of the big affair. “Notes on camp,” Miley captioned the mirror selfie, quoting the Susan Sontag essay that inspired this year’s Costume Institute exhibit, “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” In the shot, Cyrus and Hemsworth were dressed down in tees, a far cry from their ultra-glamorous looks.
The “Party in the USA” singer was in fact so excited for the festivities that she couldn’t sleep. “Too stoked for MET tomorrow!” she wrote in one photo.
Miley also got a quick haircut ahead of tonight’s event. She showed off her slight trim on IG today as well, saying she’s “fully addicted to haircuts.”
While getting ready for the event, Cyrus posed topless in bed, wearing nothing but printed tights while sitting pretty in her hair and makeup.

This may be the couple’s first time at the Met Gala together, but we certainly hope it won’t be their last.
