Lawmakers Propose That Tech Giants Make Algorithm Optional

A group of bipartisan House members recently introduced a bill that would permit people to use algorithm-free tech platforms.  The House bill is sponsored by Reps. Ken Buck, R-Colo.; David Cicilline, D-R.I.; Lori Trahan, D-Mass.; and Burgess Owens, R-Utah. Alex Murdaugh Denied Bond After Psychiatric Evaluation

During the second hearing of the Murdaugh Murder case, a South Carolina judge ruled that Alex Murdaugh was a danger to himself and his community after the results of his psychiatric evaluation came back. Alex Murdaugh faces charges on a botched suicide scheme to let his surviving son collect a $10 million life insurance policy.
