Trump Celebrates American History

In one of his last acts in his first term in office, President Trump has issued an important declaration through an Executive Order…

It’s a move that ensures that real American history won’t be forgotten… while rejecting those who want to forget the heroes who made America great.

Here’s what President Trump’s executive order said – and when it’s going to happen..

Yesterday, in one of his final acts as President (for now), Trump issued an Executive Order designed to commemorate some of the greatest figures in American history…

And for once, it’s a proposition that even the liberal media is having a hard time getting angry about.

Originally proposed at an Independence Day rally last year, President Trump’s National Garden of American Heroes is all about remembering America’s past, celebrating its greatness – and reconciling Americans across the political spectrum.

That last point may surprise some…

But the fact is, for the last several weeks, President Trump has been incredibly clear and active about his desire to reconnect America.

In his concession speech, Trump made that quite clear, telling listeners that: “We must revitalize the sacred bonds of love and loyalty that bind us together as one national family.”

So when President Trump revived the National Garden yesterday, he did it to promote that unity, to create a lasting memorial built to remind every American of past greatness…

In his Executive Order, Trump announced a vast list of over 200 vital figures in American history, all of who would be represented in the Garden in statue form.

While the President’s initial announcement of statues largely leaned towards his personal politics, the fully released list makes it clear just how critical national unity is to Trump…

By including liberal figures like Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Senator Daniel Inouye and more in the list of statues, the President is clearly reiterating his call for unity across America – there’s a reason he considers the Garden important enough to release an Executive Order about it.

So who else is set to be represented in the Garden? With almost 250 heroes on the list, there’s hardly enough room to talk about it here. Ranging from Presidents, activists and other political figures to the entertainers, athletes and artists who built American culture, the Garden is practically a who’s-who of iconic American figures.

Will the Garden actually be built? It’s hard to say…

While Trump’s Executive Order sets the stage for the Garden, it also specifies that it should be complete by the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

With that anniversary over 5 years away, there’s no real way to be sure about what’s going to happen – unless President Trump confirms that he’ll be running for office again in 2024!
