Well, folks. I’m here to inform you that Zendaya may have just singlehandedly won the Met Gala. (And yet, with her red-carpet history, is anyone that surprised?)
The 22-year-old Spiderman: Far From Home star has repeatedly brought her A-game to the star-studded event in past years, so it only makes sense that she’d continue to bring it. This time around, she opted for a full-blown Cinderella-inspired moment, courtesy of stylist Law Roach and her ultra-talented glam team, who turned her into the spitting image of the Disney icon, complete with a light-up princess gown designed by Tommy Hilfiger. The look is nothing short of show-stopping — we’re talking the type of red carpet moment that will be talked about for years and years to come. (You did that, Zendaya.)
From a beauty standpoint, makeup artist Sheika Daley kept it sweet and simple, yet still fun and whimsical with a layer of sky-blue shadow by Lancôme swept across her lids and subtly traced along her lower lashline to match her blue gown. For the rest of the face, Daley used a shimmery cotton-candy-pink blush on the apples of her cheeks, brushed up her brows for a natural-but-still-polished effect, and topped it all off with a light pink lip gloss that practically screams, “I’m dressed up as Cinderella for the night.” Daley used the brand’s L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine in the shade Shine Bright.
Her hair, of course, was swept up into Cinderella’s iconic chignon and was dyed a bright blonde to mimic the character’s. A blue silk headband acted as the cherry on top of the whole look.
Now that you have all the details, please excuse us because we’re not sure we’ll ever be over this beauty look.
