Do the rules apply to everyone, or just to you?
According to California’s dem governor, Gavin Newsom, it’s just the average American who has to hide inside – it’s just fine for big name dems to do whatever they want.
Just a few days ago, Newsom broke one of his biggest COVID rules – in the most typical dem way possible. Here’s the full story:
While insisting that people stay indoors wherever possible, Gavin Newsom decided that a lobbyist’s birthday party was important enough to ignore every single bit of advice he’d given about the pandemic.
Dining inside the French Laundry (one of California’s most expensive restaurants) in a vast, loud group, with absolutely no kind of distancing, masks, whatever, Newsom sent one very clear message…
Do as I say, not as I do. The rules just don’t apply to me.
But the story’s even worse than it sounds already…
Two of the guests at the $350 a head meal were key figures in the California Medical Association, a lobbying group that’s meant to speak for doctors across the state.
In other words, people who absolutely need to follow their own advice.
But they think they’re more important than you. They don’t think you should be allowed to make decisions… just them.
Like I said, it’s the most typical example of dem hypocrisy you could ever hope to find.
Until photos came out, Newsom kept up the lie that he was dining outdoors, intentionally lying to the media – and the people.
Even after his lie was exposed, Newsom barely even apologized…
“The spirit of what I’m preaching all the time was contradicted” – who on earth could consider that an appropriate apology?
The fact is, if Newsom really felt that what he did was wrong, he wouldn’t have waited a week to tell anyone about it.
You can’t just say sorry when you get caught, and expect us to buy it.
It’s time for Newsom to take some real responsibility – for a change.
