Dems Are Stripping You of Your Voting Rights

Once again the Dems have come up with another song and dance claiming to ‘defend’ the voting rights of Americans with the “For the People Act”.

The truth is that this bill is nothing more than a smokescreen to put the voting process in the hands of the left…

Just recently, in a procedural vote set by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, all 50 Republican members of the Senate voted against this absurd bill, putting it at a stalemate.

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin is also against this bill, considering it’s too partisan to ever work. “It’s the wrong piece of legislation to bring our country together and unite our country, and I’m not supporting that because I think it would divide us more.”

The voting bill, also known as the S1 bill, would be the largest overhaul of the United States election law in a generation.

It would require all states to automatically register eligible voters, as well as offer same-day voter registration. Additionally, it requires states to offer 15 days of early voting and no-excuse absentee balloting.

All of this in an effort to federalize the local elections and put all the power into the hands of the Dem’s.

Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called out the S1 bill for ballot harvesting in a tweet, shortly after voting against it. He called the whole thing an “insane idea”, saying that “S.1 has nothing to do with making voting easier – it has everything to do with skewing the system in a fashion to benefit the liberal agenda.”

The call for election reform came after several Republican states enacted their own voting restrictions following the aftermath of the 2020 Presidential election and Trump’s declaration of election fraud.

The debate ultimately boils down to a fight between the Dems and the Republicans over who should hold the power, when in reality the easy solution would be for the parties to work together.

But we know how hard it is for the Democrats to admit to their mistakes and Join forces with the Republicans on anything…

“Do we really want to live in an America where one party can dictate and demand everything and anything it wants, whenever it wants?” Manchin said in an op-ed for the Charleston Gazette-Mail.

After the 50/50 ruling in the Senate stalled the progression of the S1 bill, the Dem’s began pushing for a revised version, including changes that add a national voter ID requirement and cut a public campaign financing provision.

These changes might be a step in the right direction, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Democrats are only looking out for themselves, and pushing their agenda through every crack of legislation they can get their hands on.
