The US has long been a leader in the global meat packing industry. American meat packing plants were some of the most efficient in the world.
However, since Biden took over, we have seen a decline in the number of US meat packers. Let’s not forget how the demo-rat led us to food shortages and inflation.
This crisis now threatens our national security in a way we have never seen before. This is a direct result of the failed policies of the Biden administration.
Having Fewer Meat Packers Threaten Our National Security
Meat prices have gone by 15% over the last year. Moreover, the four big meat packers are raking in record profits. At the same time, the average cattle producer’s share of the retail value of beef has decreased.
All these losses mean that ranchers are being forced to shut down their operations. There may come a time when they will abandon a way of life that has been in their family for generations. The meat packing industry has become increasingly consolidated… with over 80% of producers going out of business since 1980.
Consolidation in the meat industry is impacting beef prices, which also threatens America’s national security. Americans will rely on foreign-owned corporations to feed their families if this crisis continues.
Gov. Kristi Noem: Those Who Control Our Food Will Control Us
This July, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem warned everyone that the Biden administration is letting foreign entities purchase our food supply. This has been happening since the Obama administration.

- Being one of the most proactive patriots who regularly visits the border
- Bravely fighting Dr. Anthony Fauci’s hypocritical claims in the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
The Patriot leader shared her thoughts on Newsmax regarding our food shortage crisis. Noem believes that those who control our food will have the power to control us. She said, ”There are consequences on many levels… [since we’re] allowing these types of entities in these countries to buy our food supply chain. When they control our food, they will control us.”
Then she mentioned that our food supply is connected to our national security. Noem added, ”Our food supply is our national security policy. It just is.”
Noem also told Newsmax how foreigners have been buying our land. She said, “For years, I’ve been watching foreign countries. [Those who] are not friends of the United States… [are] buying up our fertilizer companies, chemical companies, and processing systems. Now we see other people buying hundreds of thousands of acres of land. It is often foreign entities in some of these states as well.”
She added, ”So we have countries like China that own all these different pieces, and they’re not dummies. They know that when they control our food supply, they control us. This is a national security policy issue that the American people need to be aware of.”
The sad reality is that the Biden administration is allowing this to happen. Our citizens are suffering from the liberal’s incompetence in leading this country.
