Today, Giorgio Armani unveiled the stunning second dress Katherine Schwarzenegger wore for her wedding reception with Chris Pratt in an Instagram slideshow. The Italian design house also shared sketches of the groom and maid of honor’s gorgeous outfits.
Schwarzenegger looked captivating in her made-to-measure Armani Privé wedding reception dress designed by Giorgio Armani himself. She embodied California chic in her ivory silk satin gown with cold shoulders and a cowl neckline. The photo also showcases her simple yet dramatic train that she draped effortlessly over her arm.
In an Instagram post of the wedding, Schwarzenegger wrote that she was “so grateful to Mr. Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit.”
The designer told People in a statement, “Katherine and Chris are truly the ultimate beautiful bride and handsome groom. I am proud to have played a role in this couple’s wedding. For them and for the bridal party, I designed elegant and sophisticated outfits that would highlight their radiant personalities.”
For the wedding ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, Pratt donned a navy suit, white dress shirt, and black dress shoes. Armani dressed the bride in a beautiful strapless lace gown with a sweetheart neckline. She accessorized her striking dress with her grandmother’s earrings and a pair of Armani Privé white satin heels. Her tulle veil was previously worn by her mother Maria Shriver when she wed Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to People.
The couple’s wedding party all wore Giorgio Armani as well. Schwarzenegger’s six bridesmaids—including younger sister Christina, who served as the maid of honor—all sported pink halter dresses. The groomsmen complemented Pratt’s outfit and rocked navy blue Armani suits.
