Rep. Tenney Introduces Resolution to Protect Social Security and Medicare

Our Republican leaders are trying to protect Social Security. They don’t like how dems supported the American Rescue Plan… because they think it might hurt Medicare and Social Security. 

The Republicans made ads attacking six Democrats… who could cause Medicare funding to be cut and Social Security to get worse. They want people to vote for candidates who will keep these programs safe. 

Republicans say we need to ensure our leaders are responsible… so that Social Security and Medicare will be there for the next generation. 

Rep. Tenney Introduces Resolution to Protect Social Security and Medicare

Rep. Claudia Tenney is a representative from New York. She introduced a resolution to protect Social Security for current and future beneficiaries. Some people have said that Republicans want to cut the program… but Tenney wants to reassure Americans that Republicans will keep it safe.

So, I view this program as something that was set up for Americans to have a way to save, have protections from government… and earn what you should ultimately get in benefits to Social Security.”

Senate Democrats Put Social Security and Medicare at Risk

The NRSC is criticizing six Senate Democrats for supporting the American Rescue Plan. The NRSC worries that this plan could hurt Medicare and Social Security… which many Americans depend on. 

The NRSC launched an ad campaign to target dem leaders who risk our Social Security and Medicare. The liberals being targeted are:

• Sen. Jacky Rosen
