Trump Goes RINO Hunting

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Tragically, that’s really how it is for President Trump. He’s being betrayed by people he thought he could count on, who’ve decided that lining their pockets is more important than the Republican values they claim to count on…

That’s nothing new for Trump – but this time, he’s ready to fight back against the RINOs.

It’s a tragic fact that almost any kind of popular political organization ends up filled with people who care more about their wallets than they do about anything else.

You’ll see any number of examples wherever you look – including the Republican party.

Think back to 2015, 16. Remember how many prominent figures were fully against Trump for one reason or another?

After the election, most of them got back in line – their objections were just about playing politics to win, rather than real disagreements. It’s not the nicest thing to admit, but that’s really just how American politics work – you make yourself stand out by talking down the other guy.

For some, however, the story’s very different.

They really didn’t believe in Trump. They didn’t like the fact that he wanted to help the average American… hated his anti-war stance… and were terrified by the fact that he was going to do whatever he wanted to do.

For many of those people, there was an obvious path to follow – and money to be made. By calling themselves ‘never-Trump conservatives’, some have taken in millions of dollars, without doing anything of any real substance.

The rest were a lot more stealthy. By pretending to be on President Trump’s side, they’ve been able to keep their place in the party. And now that the President is at a disadvantage, they’re ready to stab him in the back.

Take Senate leader Mitch McConnell as an example. Back in 2016, he was one of the loudest voices against Trump – even going so far as to say that the party was ‘likely to change him’, stripping away everything that made Trump different.

As soon as President Trump won, McConnell changed his tone… but not his mind. Right now, he’s still stopping Trump from helping you and saving the economy, cutting off any chance of replacing the miniscule stimulus checks with a far more reasonable offer.

President Trump knows how much a $2000 check would mean for the average American – as does everyone trying to stop it. Just before the election, Nancy Pelosi cut off any chance of a large stimulus because she knew how much of a difference it would make for Trump in the election.

Now, McConnell and the other Republicans in Name Only are doing the same thing. They don’t want to be the party of Trump, to actively help average Americans – they want to reclaim their power in the party.
