Twitter is one of the Big Tech companies that censored our conservative opinion. They also permanently banned President Donald Trump from the platform after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.
However, these are all in the past right now…
Last April, Elon Musk was able to buy Twitter for roughly $44 billion. The social media platform is going for a quick revamp because of what Musk did. The world’s richest man said he wanted to buy and privatize Twitter because:
- He thinks it’s not living to its full potential as a platform for free speech
- He wants to get rid of automated spam bots
- He wants to open its algorithm to the public to increase trust
- He plans to remove its content restrictions – such as the suspension of President Trump
Musk believes that every person deserves to have access to “free speech.” He said, “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.”
He also believes that the liberals weren’t being fair in controlling the mainstream media. Musk said, “I strongly supported Obama for President, but today’s Democratic Party has been hijacked by extremists.”
Dems Threatened of Musk Owning Twitter
The liberals created the “Disinformation Governance Board” after Musk bought Twitter. Their agenda is to combat online disinformation.
Musk described the dems’ move as “Discomforting.”
Ironically, the liberals are saying that they’re combating disinformation… when they are the ones who always twist the truth with their censorship and power play. In reality, the dems are agitated since they have no control over Twitter anymore.
Other leftists shared their disbelief with the Twitter buyout…
Time magazine writer Charlotte Alter claimed that Musk’s idea of free speech is all about spreading “disinformation.” She wrote, “They say that something is worth what someone will pay for it. If that’s true, then protecting ‘free speech,’ which Elon Musk has cited as a central reason he agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion this week, may be worth twice as much as solving America’s homelessness problem and seven times as much as solving world hunger.”
MSNBC contributor Dean Obeidallah thinks Musk is doing shady business with the GOPs. He said, “It’s now 100% clear that Musk is part of the GOP propaganda apparatus.”
With all that said, the leftists seem to be disrupted by what’s happening with Twitter…
Trump Chooses Not to Go Back to Twitter
Our president believes that a Musk Twitter takeover would be a positive development. But despite having the ability to come back after being banned, Trump decided to voice out using his platform, TRUTH Social.
Trump said in an interview, “I am not going on Twitter. I am going to stay on TRUTH. I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it, and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH.”
Then he added, “This is a platform for my voice. TRUTH is a platform for my voice and for my supporters. But I want everybody to come over to TRUTH—conservatives, liberals, whatever.”
Even President Trump believes that better days are coming for America because of Musk’s actions. The new ownership of Twitter is going to be a game-changer. Let’s hope that our patriots can use this platform freely once again.
